The learning takes place in the "Phonics Funhouse" where kids meet Alice, Ted, and a cute mouse named Max. With these characters kids explore lessons about phonics and play five interactive games. In the games, children can build words by using refrigerator magnets, learn letter sounds and rhymes by matching the requested sound or the missing rhyme to a photograph, and practice identifying sounds by playing bingo or dragging letters or sounds to a special "sound box."
